Our windows are naked and needed some covering.  Plus the sun bakes our apartment so these so help keep the place a little cooler and more energy efficient in the summertime.  We didn't want to drill any holes and install permanent blinds, plus these were well under budget, costing only $3.50 each at Home Depot.  Hopefully they will hold up decently.  So far so good, and they look pretty sharp too.
