Ladderback Chair Update

Project Description add commentupload similar

My parents received this classic ladderback chair as a wedding gift in 1978, and unfortunately, the stenciled designs and gold accents really dated it to the 70's. With mom's permission, I did a thorough sanding before painting it with Rustoleum Universal spray paint in Satin Black. The black updated this chair without ruining its character. We now have it at our house in our entryway.

I love the modern look of the chair! I have a ldderback chair as well, maybe I'll try this out. Do you have other furniture that you've restored? I'd love to see more of your work.

Thanks! I do have some more furniture projects coming up, and a few others I will be adding this weekend! Most involve paint :)
